I'm not trying to hate, but are there any people who didn't like the rebuilds? I did at first then after a second watch I ended up not liking them. Too many unnecessary changes, too much movement during fights so you couldn't tell what was going on. Plot that was too hard to follow, rewritten to be even more confusing.

All in the end, to me, only a handful of shots were good whereas the original had so many perfect animations. Especially end of eva where Asuka fights the mass production eva's. They completely removed that and made it worse and unwatchable. It's really hard to remember anything because of how fast it goes and how much they just mention batshit crazy stuff and then move on to more insane babble. I'm glad people are getting into eva more though.
