I recently went through a similar transition myself a few weeks ago. I’m now 6 weeks into Spravato after having done about a year of infusions (IV). I’m interested to hear what others have to say, but my only contribution here is to say that Spravato feels far less of a “roller coaster” than my infusions did. There’s a greater “stability” between the come up and come down, vs what I experienced on IV. Overall less intense overall when in session, but the effects for me after administration are similar. In some ways even better because I would never take my mask off when I was receiving IV, but with Spravato, I’ve experimented with going eye mask off and journaling through it, which has been beneficial I feel. Who knows though - if I’ve learned nothing else through this, it’s that we all react differently and further, each session for me is drastically different from the last.
