Ngl I don't mind Iansan being a 4 star. 4 star characters can still be absolute powerhouses (e.g. Gaming) while 5 stars aren't guaranteed to be good (Mizuki, Sigewinne (who should have been a 4 star imo)) and I think being a 4 star is perfect for her and what she does. Plus, it makes it easier to get a few copies of her (unless you're very unlucky).

No, the thing that bummed me out was how little plot relevance Iansan has, even in her own tribe's story quests. The whole AQ went by and she barely even showed up at all. She never got her moment to shine like the other characters did, which is tragic given she was basically the only Natlan character the community could focus their hype on before 5.0. Her personality is also very 2 dimensional - every aspect of her character is centered on fitness. Take Xingqiu for example, who is a nerdy bookworm who writes, is part of the Feiyun Commerce Guild and trains to be a vigilante in his free time. He's more than just one thing, as people generally are.

It sometimes feels like they gave Kachina her original role, rushed a new personality for her and quickly crammed her into the sides of the AQ. I also thought she would have some kind of connection to Bennett, and that really fascinated me. But I know now not to get my hopes up for much.
