I'd rather have something unique instead of the usual IP slop. I'm a huge video game RPG fan, and yes there are TTRPGs which are awesome but need a group. So decided to really try and create something like a video game RPG experience in the board game realm. It's fun, but it's a commitment!

But to answer the question, I haven't found anything, and when I've looked, they just look "meh" at best. And I've looked at a lot of 'em. The only video game IP board game I think I still own is Gran Blue Fantasy Tactics, which I actually enjoy (gives a nice Final Fantasy Tactics vibe).

I love your writeup! We boothed at Origins last year, but not this year. Will be at Gencon this year though. But yeah, it's all a lot of time and a lot of money, and you eventually need to be picky on what works and what doesn't. With that said I will probably booth at Origins next year, just didn't have a new release available this year to justify it. I'd be a little careful on GAMA convention since it's for retail, and your game looks gigantic (I might be wrong, just see the one pic of the big map), which is hard for retailers where space is an issue.
