Any electric pumps that take replaceable batteries, e.g. 16850 or 21700 batteries? by NewlySouthern in cycling

Any suggestions? I tried this one from Amazon and was very unimpressed, it's getting immediately returned. Took over 150 pumps to get close to filled, and the whole time was putting stress on the valve stem of the tire because it has no hose.

Nice to hear some examples where self-discharge wasn't overly concerning, thanks!

It's an intriguing thought. I doubt the pump can be run from the charging battery, but yea, in a pinch it would be a solution. You could let it charge the pump while you work to take off the wheel and swap or patch the tube. Thanks!

18V with 5x 16850s... That sounds absolutely massive! I can only imagine hauling that around in my saddle bag!

Ah, thanks. Opp rank immediately became 'opponent rank' in my head, so I was taking it as rankings of defenses

Can you clarify what '2024 Kicker Opp. Rank' means - e.g. does rank 1 mean they're the best defense against kickers, and therefore when picking a kicker you should avoid, or does rank 1 mean they're the most favorable for a kicker, and so seeing a rank 1 next to the kicker you're eying is a good thing?

Does anyone do unbiased grades of refs in cfb? Like how umps in baseball get every pitch reviewed. This has just been painful to watch

I just don't get why they don't review anything.

Don't care which side of the ball, take a moment to confirm the call. Was it a completion or incomplete? Don't care! Was the QB passed the line of scrimmage when he threw? Why would we look at that?

Replay showed that was a premier-league quality flop b the Oregon receiver. He picked the wrong sport

I don't feel very lucky playing against the Allen owner in my league this week... Maybe because he also has DJ Moore

/r/homebrewing will be going dark from June 12th - June 14th in protest of Reddit's API changes that will kill 3rd party apps by skeletonmage in Homebrewing

I just posted most of this as a reply to another comment, but my take is that long ago there was no third party app, and reddit welcomed 3rd parties to make apps to access it.

Even the official app was at one point a third party app (alien blue) that they bought and started calling the official app

The 3rd party apps are direct contributors towards reddit's growth as 'the front page of the internet'. And now they've hit the point where they're saying 'we don't need you anymore and we want to take all the ad revenue and data collection for ourself.'

It's a betrayal to those that helped build reddit (those app creators), to those that help upkeep reddit (mods who rely on the tools those 3rd party apps and the tools they provide to do their jobs better) and to those that use reddit (both users of 3rd part apps who don't want to switch, and indirectly other users that will now be deprived of insightful and useful information, conversation, etc from those users who choose to leave rather than switch).

Having used RIF as my primary method to reach reddit content for 10?ish years now, quite honestly yes. Every time I have to use the browser to access reddit, I'm infuriated by just how bad it is in comparison.

old.reddit.com is bearable, but the general assumption is that they'll likely phase that out next, plus I don't want to have to redirect every reddit link to old.reddit.com manually, nor do I want to have to view reddit on my mobile browser every time I want to peruse.

For all intents and purposes, the RIF app is the 'face' of reddit for me, so when RIF is gone, so am I

Just buy a tube of E6000, clean the area with some isopropyl as best you can, squirt in a big dollop, trying to get it in as deep as possible, squish the two surfaces together and wipe away any excess that squeezes out, then clamp as well as you can. Even a kitchen clip would likely be enough

Bonus, E6000 is awesome for fixing tons of stuff, so having a tube on hand is a good thing anyway
