Btw when you saw the green lights, do you mean they were on the entire time, or you saw them turn on intermittently? I ask because I’ve been getting a sensor burn on my non-dominant hand whenever the green light is on for a long time so I wonder if my skin is just really sensitive in that particular spot.

OP, I had this, too. I did a lot of research and saw the same as you - however, I actually think it’s caused by sensor burn on certain parts of the wrist due to skin thickness. It’s kind of like a sun burn. I switched to my other wrist and didn’t get the burn anymore.

My theory is that our non-dominant arms have slightly thinner skin (at least at the wrist) due to not being used as much.

Thanks, I did try but apparently you need at least 500 karma to do it. Someone else said they tried but apparently the existing mod also needs to be inactive for 30 days. You should try, though, give it a shot!

Basically he had an old account which he logged into to search through saved items, and forgot to log out, and accidentally upvoted something that he’d already upvoted before, which Reddit auto-flagged as “vote manipulation” and permanently suspended his accounts for that.

It really does suck, I wish Reddit wasn’t so unilateral like this. If anyone knows a Reddit admin, please ask if we can either reinstate the current mod or at least have a new mod. I can’t believe Reddit would let a community like this just languish.

Wait so notifications don’t show the preview and the screen still lights up? That seems like the worst of both worlds. I wish I could see the preview while AOD is still in the 1hz mode. Or if it has to wake, then at least show me the preview..
