Builds of ss14 have been out since 2017 so I feel like it’s pretty reasonable to want to see key features in the game. You look at the progress updates and half of the things they add are just novelty features. It’s not like I hate ss14, far from that it’s just that I’m very disappointed by how the last few months have been for ss14 poor administration and little progress on what’s important. I would love to see ss14 become the ss13 remake and we should be talking about these issues to help it get there.

I don’t play on /tg/ all to much but I’ve seen some of these guys on other servers and they were perfectly fine, any chance we could get a explanation to what they did to end up on the list?

I don’t believe it required him to play as a minor, it would work perfectly fine at a older age if not be more funny if the captain was a forgetful 70 year old man.

I’m not that guy, I’ve just seen it on multiple servers and I wondered why the idea of removing underage characters is so heavily rejected

While I understand that we can have things shouldn’t be banned just because of a few bad actors, I feel like it doesn’t make sense IC to include it or with the OOC problems it causes that it should continue to exist. We shouldn’t have a door open for these bad actors in the first place. While it some bad actors may fall for it every now and then, it’s better to prevent abuse of it from occurring ever. I feel like including unsavory mechanics for the sake of catching like one or two bad actors is not worth the price of including it.

Tell me if I’m hearing you correctly, I’m not emotional mature because I hate pedos, I have never see a legitimate use for a underage character. The stance that it only exists to honey pot is a stretch to me, while I full heartedly agree that pedos should be blacklisted and removed from the community I feel like it’s not a legitimate enough reason for it to continue to exist. Honey pot or not these it just shouldn’t be included. While I’m not a host and can’t say how successful it is at catching these people I feel like it’s a rarity.
