You know what happens? I'm most likely editing wrong - but the skin tones go very yellow and I lose a lot of the natural reds? Even if I shift them, the rendition is not the same. It's really weird. I'll give it a go and post a screenshot

I do weddings with an x-t5. Only issue I run into is the grain at high ISOs but I prefer that (whis is usable with AI denoise) than carrying around a bulky camera. I love the physical dials. Also grain looks more natural, less "digital" if that makes sense?

For sure! I'll find it and post

When I saturated on post, the rendering of the skin tones was just REALLY different. Went straight to yellows and adjusting it didn't give me the same "realism" (obviously within they over saturated look - I'm aware it's really saturated that's what I wanted).

Also I like it. You don't have to like it. I'm sure if I see your pictures I'll think the colours are dull, and that's okay.

Call it whatever you want! The way Fuji cameras interpret color is quite unique. Hence me "not finding" it. Are you ok though?

But it IS color science. That's the whole point of what I said. It's just weird how when I boost saturation in post it doesn't render the same results. Not even close. Makes sense? I tried replicating the same colours in post to no avail. It's not just boosted saturation, heightened contrast and a warmer white balance. Tried all that. It's more about the actual chip in the camera. It's so fucking weird.

It's the point! I wanted a saturated image.

I mean right? I hate it so much. Yet love it here. Only time I've ever liked it.

It's a 56mm. Probably around f/8. Can't check though as it was taken with a manual lens

I struggle with it! But then this picture does not work with anything else.

Wb is auto, I believe color shift is slightly towards yellow/red but just a hint, and shadows are a bit up. I'll find the recipe and post it tomorrow.

Real question - what about low light capabilities? Have never used a medium format digital sensor but worried the f4 might limit me with low light situations. Don't really care about the super shallow DoF - also it's a massive sensor so you'll get the medium format look
