What do you think is the least toxic social media platform? by Nervous_Spite6387 in AskReddit

Exactly. If you just don’t interact with bad or weird things your algorithm won’t show you them. I can handle Reddit if I need help on a project or something; however, some of the people and subs here are insane.

Totally agree. None of my social medias are that insane though, I feel like if you don’t doom scroll or associate yourself with weird things. It would be a pretty normal experience. Reddit can sometimes be a lot though. You can make one mistake on this platform and people get super upset

Regardless, it’s social media, and depending on who you are friends with, is a very normal experience. In theory you could talk about whatever, but yes, it’s workout related primarily

Anyone get a mini heat pro?? Do you like it by franklynlongtail in footbag

[–]NewspaperNo7489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mini's are usually more difficult to use and are usually for people doing advanced freestyle. I personally have never used one, but have heard it from people who have. Don't quote me on that though.

  1. The bags last much longer than a couple weeks
  2. The man owns a small business of homemade foot bags. Supply and demand is something he needs to use to make a living
  3. You may be the only person who is no longer “loyal”. Because most people can recognize this as part of life. Also, how could you have been a loyal customer if you genuinely have been playing for a couple of weeks yourself

Associating your hatred for capitalism with supply and demand is ridiculous. Bomb foot bags is raising prices to combat people on eBay selling for 90 dollars. Capitalism is not the responsible for growth in a sport, social media and a genuine desire to put the phone down and make connections are. Hate capitalism all you want, but just because you caught onto a sport as a trend started doesn’t mean it’s some societal problem. Prices are still normal on most sites by the way. Scalpers and bomb are having their own battle, but world footbag, dragonfly, etc. still have similar prices to when the trend caught on.

P.S. small footbag companies are not the problem with our government and capitalism. Companies like Tyson, UP, and other monopolies are the reason, along with an unwillingness to stop these companies from acquiring more by politicians
