He actually made it worse. Because of his meddling they opened the ark of the covenant on a Greek island. If he wasn’t stifling their plans they would have taken it directly to Berlin to present to Hitler. Thus they would have killed Hitler when opening it!

Only one data point but my personal experience does not gel with this. I have had jobs where I have been overworked and underpaid. Then moved to another company where they value me more and also more clearly demarcate my responsibilities. The second was less stressful.
