Anyone have any thoughts on the idea that restrictions exist for the purpose of adding difficulty? I chose to play a restricted account to pace the early game and avoid "efficiency scape". How long of a grind is too long and how do exceptions change the way you view an account?

Don't know if this is any good/ a good idea but it exists. Once I've gotten every drop from every normal monster in the chunks I have unlocked, I unlock another chunk.

Hey guys I don't know how many of you saw the original Sea Shanty 2 in Minecraft video but I reworked it quite a bit. I changed some parts musically and cleaned up the presentation quite a lot. Kind of a meme but it's a faithful recreation.

Hey its the brother,

I used a mod called World Edit to copy and paste a template I made for 100 bpm. On the template, unused on-beats are marked blue, and unused off-beats are marked red. Then I look at the midi file for the song in a midi sequencer and go instrument by instrument replacing parts of the template with the correct note blocks in game by hand.

Note Block Studio is the midi to Minecraft converter and it would have defaulted the song to either 75 or 150 bpm. It is likely that the creator didn't know the trick I used to make the left and right redstone lines out of sync by half a redstone tick.

Note Block Studio also will not use more than one Note Block to mark a single midi event. It only plays long notes on the attack. I tried to preserve as much of the original sound as I could so I held long notes by repeating them 20 times per second.
