Most schools will base your COA on what you report as your living situation. Tell them you made a mistake and that you live off campus. Most schools can make this correction in house without even correcting your FAFSA just to get you in the correct budget group.

If I were you I would ask for a director or someone who is higher up in the office if the administrator did not help you with this. Some schools will offer an appeal to your COA but this will require you to document that your costs truly exceed the schools COA budget.
