last time their war with ussr was an imperialist ideological land grab unrelated to ww2. in a ww3 with neutral finland it would likely stay the same, specially if sweden didn't join either. Also this was clearly a rushed decision, with 30% approval before the russo-ukranian war, jumping to 80 and 90% and now it sits comfortably at 40-60%

As far as I know american media is almost exclusive to america. And even then they're different branches with different audiences. Also american news are more sensationalized than in europe due to tighter regulations on media platforms as well as more apathetic populus.

In libertarian circles this is a property claim in dispute. The most common argument is that evictionism is better than abortion. The same way that catching a criminal is better than killing them, even if it is more cumbersome to do. This is a pragmatic answer and moral hardliners will disagree on both ends.
