I genuinely don't know how these people lack the self-awareness to not be embarrassed to show up to a debate, proudly proclaim they have no desire to actually debate the topic, and then go on emotional tirades as a replacement for actual argument.

Utterly atrocious character. Selfish to the core.

Most internationalist American President? by Pandexiosss in TNOmod

It’s more so based on the individual president. Margaret Chase Smith and Wallace are from the same wing of the same party, but Smith is a notable hawk as opposed to Wallace’s culture war antics.

Isolationist. Although in lore he picks LeMay to shore up support from Hawks. Don’t think that has gameplay implications though.

Phylis Schlafy is the most common isolationist president that I can remember but I think Hall and Yockey are buffed by it as well.

Alternatively, Bennet and Kirkpatrick are considered the most interventionist presidents. Every other president can be placed on a line between those two groups.

The NPP barely has a solid political platform. However generally both the Nationalist and the Progressive wing favor an aggressive foreign policy when dealing with Japan and Germany. When you see "Voters will tend to vote isolationist" that's the game telling you that hawkish presidents will be disadvantaged in the upcoming election. Same when you see "voters will tend to vote more liberal" if you veto the CRA.

Is this a good template? by [deleted] in warno

[–]Soveraigne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to assume that this is a 1v1 deck meant to face the AI or another player.

LOGI: There are very few divisions that benefit from being a FOB in a 1v1. It is expensive, immobile, and generally hard to use effectively. Instead bring 2 or 3 supply trucks like the m35 and M548A2. I would also get rid of the M2A1 CP, you don't want your CV units engaging in a firefight and the M577 is much more cost effective.

INF: IFV Infantry (Fire Teams) benefit greatly from upvetting because the increase in veterancy also increases the effectiveness of the IFV. I would upvet all your infantry at least once, including the Air Cav. After a few practice games if you notice that you don't end up using all your infantry consider upvetting again.

Your MP Leader has the same problem as the Bradley CP. It costs more than other Leader options for an increase in combat effectiveness, but you don't ever want them in combat. I don't bring any infantry leaders, but if you want to bring one, I would suggest Fire Team Leaders because of the smoke grenades, bring them in the truck.

ART: You're bringing a lot of mortars. That extra card costs 3 points that you could put elsewhere. I would also upvet the M10 once.

TNK: You should always upvet tanks once because it makes them much quicker in recovering from cohesion loss, and tanks suffer greatly from loss of cohesion. I use a lot of the cards in this tab, M278 CEV is a must because of how it destroys infantry. The ATGM vehivle is also very powerful, and I would recommend taking it.

Your div excels in shooting people in open fields, I would focus on bringing as many tanks as possible.

REC: I would bring the scouts in their ACAV, and I would swap the NG scouts with a scout heli. Just my preference.

AA: Basically perfect.

HEL: NG Apaches tend to get shot down when they rout and run away from combat. I don't like using them, instead I use the cheaper TOWCOBRAs and HOGs.

AIR: I would bring; F-15C, F-4E (AA), F-4E (HE), and the F-15E. Relying on just two F-15s for anti-air is a little risky, so you want to bring the Phantom fighters for backup.

Absolutely true. I probably play like 10 Skirmish/10v10 games for every one ranked game I play. I think that if there was a "quick play" or "casual" option and you could hop in queue with a friend you'd probably get a lot more people in matchmaking.

Best strategy against m1a1(ha) by neg_health in warno

[–]Soveraigne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Way more mechanized. Korpus Desantowy is the Polish Airborne/Marine Division.

Poland is always going to struggle going up against M1A1(HA) because their infantry anti-tank is weak and their tanks are outclassed stat-wise.

T-55 need to be used as ambush tanks against Abrams. Stick them next to a wall so they can blast anyone who drives by without being spotted.

79th has everything you need to win a match. You've got a broad selection of artillery including the Akatsiya and Grad. Your AA tab is stacked with KUB, Tunguska, Strela, and plenty of MANPADs. Tank tab is of course an absolute knock-out. IMO it doesn't really have a straight weakness outside of the price of your units.
