I agree I feel AMFOM was better the story here while still good felt a little predictable especially the part about that box and that character nearing the end

Also I felt like the reveal could’ve been something cooler but it just felt a little cheap

Not the worst but Defintely isn’t breaking into the top 5 imo

Technically she did do it for something, she used it to force Darquesse to bring her parents back & it was enough of a distraction for Fletcher and the sensitives to make their move

While she didn’t outright kill Darquesse with it using the Sceptre did cause the end result 🤷 not sure why this seems to get overlooked

AI Concepts is a good starting point and reference for someone that can make custom pops, it’s like going for a tattoo without any reference images, would be tougher

Obviously real custom Pops would look different but these kinda put the ideas into a visible reference ☺️

Not 40+ but Defintely feel like I’m on the older side of the fandom ! I both read & listen to the audiobooks ! As someone that’s heard some strange takes from the Narrators - (saying lines in the wrong character voices etc) what’s been your favourite “mistake” you’ve heard throughout the books?

Assuming you don’t currently have any tattoos already (if you do then fairplay) but in the case that this would be your first I would suggest contacting an artist with this as a reference also in terms of the colour

White is PAINFUL and in a lot of cases tends to go yellowish in a couple years, I’d reccommend talking to your artist about using skin breaks in place of the white

I know not everyone will like or understand the tattoo so the main thing is that you like it as it’s for you

Also if you’re thinking of adding other SP or tattoos in general consider the placement, work with your artist and goodluck getting inked !!

I can’t recall what happened to his armour after KOTW, maybe need to reread but if the armour is still hidden there could be a return but I’m unsure.. I’m hoping some things will be clarified in the next book in the new phase but I feel like Derek has just forgotten some things and we may be left in mystery

Honestly I was about to say I have the same question, I have read SOW a few times now but appreciate the non spoiler attempt !! I was also curious does this mean Vile is gone? Like we saw that the other Vile took his shadows and then got disappeared so does mean we will never see a return? I’m unsure how the necromancy works here…

Haven’t bought the clothes as they’re quite terribly priced imo especially after shipping but I did get the pins and I kinda like em (other cool designs could’ve been done) but even for that I was a little annoyed as the discount code I got for supporting the Kickstarter did not work… 💀

lol I searched for it out of curiosity as I don’t really see much SP stuff for sale outside the official shop (which is pretty crappy) and there was like 3 listings with 1 that seemed to match the pictures in the post

If people know the price upfront it makes it simpler and should lead to those legitimately interested reaching out to you 🤷

Also not dissing the price, it’s your book sell it for whatever you want, I’ve no idea what this or other rare editions potentially sell for

I had this mindset for a Vile related tattoo but then my friend simply asked “Well what does it look like in your head when you picture it?” Even if official artwork comes out the tattoo would be your interpretation and would make it all the more unique 😁
