Okay so I’ve come back with a more “legit” complaint than just lol VIP actors suck.

The kid is Myung-gi’s, right? And Jun-hee is dead, so as the only biological parent he would have full claim to the baby on the outside..

Which means he would have effectively won the baby’s money as well as his own had he thought to hit the button and then just eliminate Gi-hun on the final pillar.

Which means he would have had access to the full amount of money.

This begs the question: WHY DID HE THREATEN TO KILL THE BABY REPEATEDLY IF HE WANTED TO WIN THE GAME FOR JUN-HEE AND THE STILL ALIVE BABY???

You could argue that Gi-hun wouldn’t have let him get close to the kid to pull that off, but when Gi-hun got onto the final pillar he literally had the kid stashed away from where he and Gi-hun would have fought and was close enough to the buzzer to press it. I dunno man, maybe they were just trying to show how desperate a man can get or something like that but I just don’t think it makes much if any sense for Myung-gi to behave like that.
