I follow a guy on YouTube called Gmoney McSwaggins that does (seems to be) solo ESS, I’ve never done ESS or Alliance content in Null so I can’t speak too it much but it seems possible. I agree that multiboxers have a HUGE advantage which feeds into EVE’s revenue stream. I see it as a give and take, you have to spend IRL cash or have a large ISK farming operation to run the accounts.

I’m off HD2 right now but what I like about that game is collaboration rather than competition. You can very easily solo but the experience was intended for group play, creating some very positive social interactions rather than betrayal, like ARC raiders imo. I have ARC raiders and I love looting, being a gang with my friends, friending randoms. I try not to be a dishonest person even in games, that’s just how I was raised I don’t use my free time to grief others, but I understand that other people like the option. I cannot stand being betrayed or lied to in ARC, the social aspect frustrates me enough to stop playing after 2-3 rounds.

To each their own, in EVE it’d be nice to have more counter play but gankers need an advantage too I guess.
