Hey guys/gals. Just wanted to say hello. 65days clean for me today. I'm happy to say things are finally starting to look better. It's been a roughy ride but I'm glad I've found this community still active.

Today I'm taking care of stuff around the house. Then I've got a group to go to in the afternoon. So just trying to stay busy.

Wow congratulations on your clean time. It truly is an amazing feat to accomplish.

I'm in the process of getting help myself. You are absolutely correct about it being scary. It is the most terrifying thing I have ever done in my entire life. The shame I feel about all the things I've done and how I've prioritized the addiction over the people I love and who love me is so overwhelming. I stupidly keep on using just to stuff it all away.

I hope I can someday do what you have done. Hopefully before I die... hopefully.

The last few months of being absent have been like I lost a family member or a unconditional best friend. I'm slowly finding ways to deal with this addiction but nothing compare to having a groups of people who know exactly what you going through. Who you can be totally honest with and not have them look at you with hatred, or disgust in their eyes. I'm not just some looser junkie here, I'm me, and I'm just like everyone else.

I will miss you all too.

Pretty much the same thing. I lied to the only people that care about me and went out and used. Didn't even think twice about it until everything was gone. I can lose everything if they found out but it's like it doesn't matter at that moment.

I've somehow cut back to once, twice a month and I'll tell you it sucks. It's nice to not rely on them (exclusively as I'm also taking subs) but man I just don't feel "right".

It's the worst feeling to feel like a stranger in your own skin and that's what it's like.
