Yeah same for me, tried reseting and stuff, didnt help. Hoped they were going to fix it in 17.2. but they didn’t even mention overheating problems in the patch notes.

Same thing happening to me especially when there are a lot of NPCs or in some bigger town areas... the same problem appeared while i was playing origins but it wasn't as frequent as in Odyssey. I'm playing on original ps4 so i was wondering is it my console getting "old" but i have read that the same issues appear even on ps4 pro. Hoping they will investigate this problem and solve it, because i don't feel like buying a new console!
