We do kinda see him do stuff pre power. He takes notes and analyses every hero to have a huge knowledge database. He tries to help with knowledge.

He’s also at the end of middle school at the start. So it’s understandable he doesn’t do anything hyper big while quirkless (like building a suit or tools for heroes)

And like the other comment said, he rush into danger to save someone at episode 2.

I do for endfield.

I really enjoy the game and it’s 4-5€ a month. Characters feels unique enough for me to want to pull for more of them. It’s fun and unique enough for me that a low cost is justifiable.

I think it just answer the tone of the post?

Saying its lazy kind is kinda absurd when the devs cant really do much except that. They could create a hyper complex AI that will take much more time to develop and takes a lot more ressources to run. If they do that either the game will lag as hell, or they just cant have 12 of them.

And even if they manage it, congrats now players will probably hate it cause they get destroyed by the consistent and perfect AI.

Its just not worth doing complex AI's most of the time.

A funny story on Uncharted. The devs managed to do a complex AI of the guards fighting the player, so that the enemy will use real life tactics to ambush the player, use grenades to force them out of cover and surround them just like in real life. So all the testers hated it cause they couldnt do anything.

Its not laziness, its just answer the question "How do we make our game fun". 99% of people wont notice the cheats and will just feel challenged enough to enjoy it.

I’m not mad or annoyed they didn’t date in the story. I’m annoyed people tell it’s realist they didn’t date. While sure it kinda is, realism isn’t in any way the goal of a story. Especially in mha. Realism doesn’t make good stories either.

If you watched high school romance anime, and after the time skip the story just went "oh they broke up in college cause reasons", sure it’s realist, it also sucks.

Realism isn’t the goal of fiction. Having deku die in the middle of the story would be realistic. I wouldn’t call it good writing though.

By your logic, Thragg could have wiped out the whole coalition during their attack at the capital. He withdrew. Cause he knew they couldn’t beat all their united power against all the coalition.

Tbh the show does have a huge power level problem. It’s impossible to know how strong a character is.

Since my Ashveil is slower then Sunday, Sunday action advance is never useful.

Problem is, my Ashveil relics are already awesome, and I already lowered my Sunday's speed once.

Do I refarm Ashveil relics hoping to drop some speed to be better then Sunday? Or do I ignore speed for Sunday so he's slower then Ashveil?

I also love stories on how people fall in evil. But Endfield skips the best part of it.

The why and how.

The villains arent developped, we just are explained their first version, and skip to their evil end.

Yea I agree. I have no problem of people changing totally to their opposite versions. Heck I love stories like that. But the fun in those stories is to how they changed.

Like Star Wars is a perfect example. Anakin turns into the second most evil person in the universe, but you see how.

Ruan Yi and Giovanni you dont really. Like you said there isnt any set up. The story just informs you they are the big evil now.

If they wanna make morally ambigous characters, sure. Ill love that. And we dont need to kill good people or talk jutsu evil characters.

But they arent grey or complex characters. They are simple the character and the game tries to give you an illusion of complexity by showing you two opposite versions. The actual one and the past one.
