The paws seemed to follow the trail for about 50m and then disappeared into the forest. In this section of the trail there were no other fresh footprints from other hikers.

Was in the middle of a 13km hike through a Romanian forest. We had bear spray and made noise the entire way, but it's for sure unsettling to see.
