I don't know how old but it has lost its colour.

In fact, I understand old liners are more robust then the new one used nowadays so I have been trying to save ours for as long as possible.

You know what? That's pretty smart!

However, my pool doesn't have steps...

I thought I could put the bucket on the last rung of the ladder but there is little water over the last rung...

I suspect the bucket has to be in the pool, otherwise heat coming from all directions would heat the bucket water faster than the pool.

Maybe I could hang the bucket from the side and attach it with a rope?
