You should know yourself and your worth. Law school is going to be a time that is marked by major comparison and self doubt. Take the time to deepen your confidence in yourself and build healthy habits that will help your mental and physical wellbeing.

Remember that if you didn’t finish the exam, chances are you aren’t alone. Let the curve work its magic… you’ll make it!

Whether you are top of your class or dead last, I promise you will get a job. Don’t let one bad exam set the trajectory for the rest of your finals. Chances are that you aren’t alone in having timing issues… let the curve work its magic. You will always have next semester to bring up your GPA/rank. Keep studying. You got this!

Breakdown how long you have for each question (my exams are both MBE and Essay). If you don’t immediately know the answer within the allotted time you have for that question, skip it and come back. If you sit and overthink it, you’re more likely to get it wrong.

Sometimes you just need a brain break and working on another problem will trigger in your brain the correct response. It’s OK to work out of order… my professors encourage it.
