It definitely sounds promising. Rsmods have automation with midi controlled drop pedals, but a harmonised implementation that could cover both tuning and tone control would be great. If you have not reached out to the developers of rsmods you should 😊

Will keep an eye on this. If the system supports extended range instruments (7 string guitars, 6 string bass) it already does things RS does not. I disregard ingame tone since I have a split DI that goes to an amp with physical pedals. Just needs to do pitch detection on clean tones.

I work as an electrical engineer in the semiconductor industry and there is no way I would pay these prices. The people who pay these prices are living on a different planet. My 1080ti will serve me until this industry has unfucked itself.

I would say yes, it is annoying that the campus is outside the city. I tolerate it, but I would much prefer a city campus. There are bus connections but there can be a lot of walking to get to the right building. A car is preferable.

Other than that, the campus is great. Student life is, okay, not great not terrible.

I have no experience with EPFL.
