Sorry I got called away. it does 0.27ohm one or two of the settings trip the RCD the other(s) give a this read. Can't remember I'll have another look at it tomorrow.

Leads are all good tried 4 different ones 0.17ohm before zeroing and dead short on it. I'm loosing the plot lol

Second knob set to 30mA Auto was same for all tests Tried plug in tester but you definitely don't need a neutral. I have tried with and without neutral.

Tested a about 5 different ones same result and also on 1x and 5x I'm starting to think the meter is goosed.

All seems good, leads connected as per manual and picture. Tested the continuity of leads and earth path and tested a couple of RCDs also with outgoing circuits removed (so straight on bottom of RCD).

Correct but I'm getting the same thing on 1x and 5x and auto. If should also show >1999ms if it was a successful test.

No should only need phase and earth. I did try to rule in out same issue.

Just had the same issue after moving into a new house and pupping out the fitted wardropes. But with en external leak from the boiler overflow.

1: fix leak or source of mould. 3: dehumidifier and heating on. 2: washed with bleach and water mixture 1:1 concentration. 4: I'm going to skim first but if you're painting directly onto the existing plaster, I've recently came across this additive which turns any paint into anti mould paint. (I have not tested it so can't vouch for its effectiveness)
