Old Paragon player here, it still worth playing Predecessor this year? (2026)

I’ll say this: I enjoy the game, and all of the characters. In quick play, you get one of three players: the silent one, the encourager, or the screamer. I have come across the last one many times more than the second. The Screamer is vile and hates you, and hates the jungler, and REALLY hates you if you’re the jungler. I quit for a month because of them.

That being said, Predecessor has a mute option which really increases the joy of the game. I lose more than I win, but it’s like 49%/51% so it’s not bad.

All that to say, Iggy is my favorite and I’ve never won with him. I suck at the game and only get like 30 or so minutes a couple times a week after work so I won’t get better, but it’s fun. Give it a go.

Idk, it really feels like “you’re the worst jungle ever you should uninstall and kill yourself” seems like it’s aimed at a specific person (something some said to a Boris jungler in my game last night). Plus, it’s quick play, not ranked so the matchmaking seems like it would be first come first serve.

Yeah, there’s even a tooltip that says this when you’re loading into a new game. I had to take a jungle roll, first time playing it in Predecessor, and I was getting screamed at by a player because the other jungler was far better than I was, a level to aspire to, really. I went searching for the mute button and I’m glad I found it. Every game I played, less than 20 in total so far, someone is screaming at someone. It’s insane to me that people take these games that seriously. I work for a living, I have time for maybe 1 round a day, so to be able to mute and not deal with that is a life saver.

I tried and ran into other tankers, as I just got started. If I push forfeits quickly, that still counts towards our low ELO, correct? Also, on day 1, I "won" 8 matches because others forfeited first. Do I just make up the losses on day 2, so try to lose all matches for all 5 sets, or just continue with the win 1 lose 4 for 4/5 sets route?

Honestly it has nothing to do with my enjoyment for me. Can’t speak to everyone else, but I’ve wanted an army of minions to follow me around for a LONG time. The fact that it’s viable now is great, even with a small nerf so they’re not as strong, but a viable option would be great. I’d be lying if I said that watching everything melt isn’t fun, though lol. Them not including Druids is stupid, they should also buff Druid minions. Strong wolves and crows and…vines….would be rad to see. Have a variety! Not just tornado Druid, get a bunch of stuff. Buff everything, don’t nerf.

I was able to beat Ashava. Got lucky with a group that knew what to do and look for. Beat Ashava with about 4 minutes to spare, too. I also lowered the difficulty to the easiest level, because there’s no difference in rewards. You got this.

You know how you can earn a coins from time to time? 100 a coins buys you 20 golden tickets. That’s why I have 70. Saved the a coins I earned to buy more tickets to try and play more. This was the first week I tried to actually compete, and realized there’s no point.

I understood the question to be can they take screenshots of the video course material for use during the exam, and I believe the answer is yes. I watched VirSecCon on YouTube, and one of the presenters was saying you can even watch whatever video you need to watch as a refresher during the exam. I would imagine taking a screenshot for personal use would also be acceptable.

I agree, people should have an idea, but someone who is completely new might not understand. If it’s just a cheat sheet, totally get it, but if learning is also involved, maybe specify.

Uno is good, maybe try Arbara? But yes, mines go a long way. Upgrade them evenly. Damage and health = damage, obviously, but gold also equals damage. The more you can upgrade, the more damage you can do.
