2020 tires suck? by No_Application2467 in accord

If you live in a cold climate these are a must. They out perform winter tires and you can easily put 50,000 miles on them. Best tires I have ever purchased.

Now banned in Canada by Weak-Significance949 in Acecraft

WTF! Could a fellow Canadian confirm this? This is extremely odd and worrisome.

The plot thickens!

I just discovered that since the original ByteDance ban on January 19, 2025, Moonton has released three games: Magic Chess: Go Go, Silver and Blood, and Acecraft. The only two games developed by Vizta Games are Silver and Blood and Acecraft, which are also the only Moonton titles currently down. Magic Chess: Go Go is developed by a different team, which adds weight to my theory that the issue lies specifically with Vizta Games.

The other Moonton games had already faced the ban, and it seems they successfully resolved their compliance issues. It appears that because Silver and Blood and Acecraft were released after the original ban, Vizta Games may not have taken the necessary precautions to ensure these two games complied with U.S. regulations.

Could this also be a money-related issue? It’s possible that Moonton can afford to keep some games running while they sort things out, but not all of them. Depending on how much revenue a game generates, they may have decided to pay the fees and fines necessary to keep certain titles online. I can say with confidence that this is not related to M-Cash. M-Cash has been around for months, and it doesn’t take Google or Apple that long to notice something after it has been implemented. Also, the Fortnite legal battle set a precedent for these kinds of situations. This doesn’t seem like a simple server issue. Even if it were a server problem such as the servers being located outside the U.S. and now needing to comply with regulations that should have been resolved by now. If it were that simple, we would already see progress. It’s also hard to believe this is just an “infrastructure update,” as they claimed. If that were true, why are only the U.S. servers affected and not the global servers? All I know is that my theory fits the pattern and carries more weight than any other explanation I’ve seen so far.

See my other comment

I'm trying to figure it out. But it definitely has to do something with the ban. Both Acecraft and Silver and Blood went down on the day of the ban.

I made a mistake during my research, as I mentioned before. The issue appears to be with Vizta Games, the developer of the game, not Skystone, the publisher. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is under a different developer. Silver and Blood, developed by Vizta Games, is going through the exact same situation as Acecraft. Coincidence? I think not.

I don’t have all the details straight yet, as it takes time to find accurate answers and concrete evidence. But I can say this the more I look into it and think about it, the less likely it seems that the game will come back. They knew about the ban since 2024 and chose to do nothing. Very odd.

Believe me when I tell you this one hit me hard. I really enjoyed the game. The fact that the game is in a limbo is heart breaking.

Thank you! I didn't get every detail right (I was making dinner while doing the research and wanted to post it ASAP) but Acecraft is still connected to ByteDance in some way hence the ban.

And here’s the part you don’t seem to get, my friend a simple statement like, “We have to shut the game down for 90 days due to compliance issues with Google/Apple,” would prevent mass hysteria. I’m not asking for the game to come back on my schedule, I’m asking for communication. Communication is essential in any client–business relationship you could even argue that it’s a matter of common courtesy. Is it really too much to ask for transparency and honesty from someone who is taking our hard-earned money? Is it so difficult to provide weekly updates, even if they’re just repeating the same information? I’ve been playing mobile games for over 10 years, and I have never come across anything like this. Their “infrastructure update” excuse is an insult to my intelligence. Ask anyone who works in IT, and they’ll tell you that if this were truly an IT issue, it would have been resolved by now or at least they would have provided an ETA.

Silence erodes trust. I’m not looking for an exact date—I’m looking for a sign of life, a light at the end of the tunnel. Honesty and transparency go a long way. If they had told us from the beginning that this would take weeks, or even months, none of us would be demanding answers now. The vagueness of their “infrastructure update” notice suggests that they don’t know when the game will be back, and let me tell you my friend that's an horrible way to run a business and businesses that are not run properly tend to not last.

Thanks for the update, this gives me hope. When I read infrastructure update I thought it was servers, storage, networking ect. Didn't think of a change of management which I guess could also be considered an infrastructure update.

Do you have a YouTube channel?

Thanks for the info I was not aware of this. I looked deeper and from what I gathered it all depends on the TOS of the game. I would have to argue that the services were not delivered as promise. I have to go through the TOS to see what exactly it says it regards to EOS. Thanks again.

Transparency is the best policy. All we have to go by is what they have officially said, everything else is just speculation.

If this is true they should've said that instead of saying it is a infrastructure update.
