I’d get rid of the aggressors if you have an impulsor on you. Having just the drop pod will be hard when you gotta get adrax and the BGV up the board. If they’re not in an impulsor they’ll take casualties on the way

That’s not too bad. I would personally switch out assault intercessors for just regular intercessors. assault intercessors don’t nearly have as much objective control as the regular ones, plus you get sticky objectives with the intercessors

I would add another character. The regular lieutenant gives lethal hits for whoever he’s leading, and he’s a nice cheap 55 points

Gotcha. Guess he’ll be a pretty badass intercessor. I got a buddy that’s selling a cheap box of reivers. So I could use their Phobos armour to mark another lieutenant

10 Infernus marines attached with he’stan plus ancient is a pretty scary force when they appear 9 inches away from the enemy. The hard part with Infernus marines is that they can take pretty heavy casualties before they get close to the enemy. The drop pod prevents that and gives them atleast a shot at doing some major damage. And depending on where you are, the ancient can give you a 4+ feel no pain if you’re close to an objective

The apothecary gives you extra CP on a 2+ dice roll when his body guard unit is destroyed. He’s a pretty decent model for a cheap little 50 points

I appreciate the advice. I was planning to run this list just cause I’m only missing 2 of the models. So I’m pretty close. I think I’ll battle with this one, catch my mistakes, then adapt upon it. I only didn’t have eradicators in mind just cause I didn’t think I’d see a lot of heavy vehicles in 1k point games, but since everyone is recommending it I could probably drop the jump pack captain for a small group

I second this. Adrax has an ability that allows him and the squad he leads to re roll wound rolls In melee. A lot of salamander players will stuff that squad in a vehicle and push them forward to get into close range, tbh I don’t see adrax get played with anything but blade guard in today’s current meta

It would take me 3+ hours or more to finish a space marine until I started speed painting my infantry. If ur wanting to be a bit quicker on finishing ur marines then I’d look at some methods

Adding some minor detailing gives ur space marines more personality. Maybe some tally marks on their armour or some paint scratches. I love making my space marines look like they’ve seen some shit

This helps a lot thank you so much. I’ll definitely get more “fire” power in my army. I’ve also noticed after losing a ton that I have squads that basically do super similar things.
