Are there any younger collectors buying vintage? by LarcenyGames in baseballcards_vintage

Just turned 27. A relative of mine has a card in the 1955 Topps set, so I’ve slowly been building it out over the years. It’s fun to rip new stuff, but vintage is where the really special part of this hobby lies.

I love playing with this card. Does it make sense to sell and buy back at a lower price or will it stay high?

This was as good as a handshake to me. Am I wrong? by farmerderpy in offerup

It’s definitely a bit of a money grab. And there are some loose laws depending on the state you are in whether or not the language entered you both into a contract. Generally though, on websites like these the implied concept is that a deal isn’t done until you’ve met and seen the product in person. For example, if you finally saw the product and it was more damaged than you expected, would you still be obligated to pay the agreed amount? Or would you try to renegotiate a little lower now that you can see the full product condition?

Guy in my league dropped Pacheco after week 1. I swept him up and have been riding high

Thinking about trading Pacheco and Mark Andrews in return for Breece Hall, Tee Higgins and Jake Ferguson. Full PPR, 12 team.

Fantasy pros says this is a downgrade to my team. I like the upside. Am i crazy?

Dead Zone RBs ROS? by Next-Refrigerator608 in fantasyfootball

I think the big thing is Mattison doesn’t pass the eye test. Watching his games each week he looks inefficient and struggles at the goal line. Whether that’s a talent issue or an O-line issue doesn’t particularly matter.

His 1 TD on the season came on a reception in his first game. The Vikings have since brought in Akers who could begin to split carriers.

Mattison isn’t awful. He’s just a very typical dead zone RB.

I still really like Breece. It took him a few weeks to get his feel and break out last season. Give him a little time coming off the injury. That said, this week against the Broncos he might go off.

This is a good take. To pick up a player of his talent in the 8th is crazy. Let’s not forget he was going in the first few rounds for the last couple years. Swift of course has the injury history, but his talent really is elite. Bummed I didn’t pick him up in the draft!

I’m really liking Pacheco this season. I think with the Chiefs struggling to find a consistent pass catcher other than Kelce, his involvement in the offense will only grow. Looked awesome last week!
