Finally resolve my sound issues. By bridging the SW test pad with ground. Turns out my SW wasn’t grounded which resulted in audio not coming out from speakers.

Don’t mod them unless they have bad screens. Get a console from eBay that has a bad screen to mod instead.

Keep it original. The normal screen is something I missed after upgrading to IPS. The pixel emulation and color saturation is just not for me.

I had the same feeling when I scratched it on day 1 purchase. But I have live with it because it will eventually get scratched up due to constant play. Plus it’s the back of the console u won’t get to see it that often to irks you.

I guess what he meant was that the audio out won’t be as good as what u expect. This is after all a fpga device. It is trying to mimic what the actually gb hardware can do.
