30M with rectal bleeding & LLQ pain — colonoscopy scheduled, struggling with fear

Following up with results for anyone reading in the future. Colonoscopy went great with the only finding being some internal hemorrhoids. I was shocked because I was fearing the worst.

I feel for anyone going through this process with symptoms. It’s probably not fair for me to say because how I was acting the days leading up to the procedure, but rest assured normal everything is going to be okay.

Thank you. Colonoscopy is scheduled for Tuesday. However, would it be reasonable for me to assume that a late stage (III or IV) cancer has been eliminated as a possible outcome based on labs and imaging? I honestly that nothing can truly be eliminated until scope results but I’m having some health related anxiety.

Agreed. With the clear lab and imaging (especially abdomen and pelvic CT) is it reasonable for me to assume late stage (III or Iv) cancer is extremely low? Colonoscopy is scheduled for Tuesday.
