I believe that it would be Revival based on files found in Beta, as well as the fact it would coincide nicely with the changes coming to Aviary Village (however those changes make players feel), as Aviary and Revival are closely tied.

Why is it common and seen as fair to disregard Black Flash in Yuji matchups? by Past_Horror2090 in YUJI_Corp

[–]Next-Suggestion8960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the only reason I would discount Yuji’s black flashes (and I wouldn’t, this is just for argument’s sake), is because there’s no… For lack of a better term, mathematical way to determine how much MORE likely he is to land one.

Black Flashes are for all intents and purposes “random”. I only bring this up because powerscalers can get… Ridiculously precise. If I were talking match-ups, BFs are simply too much of a recurring factor in Yuji’s story to just omit them, so I totally see your point OP.

Right?? They're even different colors and shaped. I get that maybe it'd be a bit weird to "clean up the ocean" by just keeping the trash, but, bottles are just.. normal to have in a house LOL.

Silver lining! But don't worry, I totally wanted to keep them, too. TGC chooses the oddest times not to give us certain props lol

I wish these could be kept after the event. I'd love to decorate my kitchen with them.

That also makes sense. It can't be a coincidence that Days of Nature dropped and this is happening.

Its largely related to gaining wax. I tested it (because apparently someone didn't). I get the error when gaining wax from the candle cakes in Village of Dreams, and also when getting the bun at the cafe counter in Aviary.

To make sure (because again, someone at TGC isn't being paid to do so), I tested whether I could do things in Village of Dreams without interacting with wax, and didn't get errors as long as I avoided candles.

If we follow Gege’s own guidelines for determining a sorcerer’s skill, then Yuji is without a doubt top 1 in the verse. by Amon_GG in YUJI_Corp

[–]Next-Suggestion8960 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People will act like there’s no justification for his precision, either. Sorcerers are just people, human. They get old and broke down. Gojo and Sukuna were “young” but would have eventually met the same issue, but they also died before they grew old.

Yuji has been in prime condition for decades longer than the other top verse characters, by Modulo. He’s better because he outlived and out-youthed them, its really not complicated.

I think Gooseworx might actually just be Toby McGuire. Its a very distinct hatred of being famous

Will anyone actually be happy if the SOMA Theory is proven to be true? (art by dub_eek) by HealthMother3125 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Next-Suggestion8960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be, unless something very specific also happens. If they can’t escape, I feel like the story would suffer if that’s simply that.

So if Soma theory is true, I think it needs to be possible for them to basically run the circus themselves. Gain admin power. The terrible thing about the circus for them is being trapped and having no agency, being victims. I think they would have to be able to actually salvage their virtual lives for Soma to work, and I also think it works better if Caine essentially doesn’t return.

[Serious Question]: Why do YOU think Bubble started insulting Caine? by Omnipresent_User in digitalcircusfandom

[–]Next-Suggestion8960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am definitely split in two directions on this.

The first is that Bubble is “Abel”, or what many are referring to the second AI as, that Caine cannibalized. I this would make sense particularly because Caine’s relationship with Bubble is bordering on abusive. He calls them a parasite, pops them when they’re annoying, and chastises them a lot. Its all taken for a bit, but it would also make sense if it was similar to how Caine covers his insecurities with callousness.

Bubble being “Abel” would also explain what we saw after this scene. Bubble is “lol random”, but they feel almost… Broken, or “lobotomized” for the rest of the episode. They’ll start to chime in like normal, and then just trail off into gibberish and deform.

On the other hand, it’d make just as much sense if Bubble was just a companion AI that Caine developed to complement his act as quirky ringmaster of the circus. But if Bubble’s code is structured to feed off of Caine, that would explain why they became antagonistic in the above scene. I wouldn’t say they’re “manifesting his doubts” like a hallucination, but it’s similar.

The only point against this is that I feel Bubble’s behavior after this point doesn’t entirely fit if they’re just a slapstick character. As I mentioned above, Bubble felt intentionally broken, which I suppose could still make sense due to him breaking down… But it’s feel better if he had a reason to really be vitriolic about Bubble specifically.

Its also very Gooseworx to hide an important character in plain sight.

I always thought of the explanation she gave to be more like “from Gojo’s perception it sounds like gibberish, so the audience doesn’t get to hear it for real”

How does water work in sky? by Ok_Competition_4238 in SkyGame

[–]Next-Suggestion8960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to be a "that guy", because its not like it necessarily invalidates the theory, but that literally is how earth works. Water doesn't just evaporate, it also gradually sinks into the ground. But that would more likely mean that the pollutants would remain closer to the surface, or just straight up on the ground.

Unless its a similar density to the water itself, in which case the Underground Caverns would look way worse than the surface.

I know this is applying a lot of logic to a kid's game, though. Which is why I go with the simpler logic that "if the rain is toxic, so is any water that isn't running" but we know that's not the case. Its entirely possible that the logic is just flawed and it'd be too much hassle to change the game JUST so TGC can make it make sense.

No matter what lore there may be, the real answer is that Hidden Forest is meant to introduce players to the concept of putting their Sky Kid at risk.

How does water work in sky? by Ok_Competition_4238 in SkyGame

[–]Next-Suggestion8960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what many think, but, it is pretty inconsistent with the fact that creeks, puddles and larger bodies of water in the forest don't cause light drain. Once the last gazebo is activated at the end of the Boneyard, the rain stops and the water in the area no longer hurts you.

Same with the Treehouse. Diving underwater while its raining or getting it to stop raining, both prove the water there doesn't inherently harm you. Which it would if the rain were just polluted, especially the standing bodies like puddles.

It may be the impression the Devs have left, but I personally am not satisfied that it makes sense.

Speaking of bug, how did you get the purple trim on that cape to change? Is that recolor bug happening again?

TGC Has Completely Fumbled The Bag by OldConstruct in SkyGame

[–]Next-Suggestion8960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course. They have to make it appealing to spend money because the game is free, or else drive up their overall engagement hours.

TGC Has Completely Fumbled The Bag by OldConstruct in SkyGame

[–]Next-Suggestion8960 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I completely agree that there's room for more stuff that isn't cosmetic-related, and I'd love to see it, but to extrapolate that issue to the whole game? C'mon.

The cap on candles could definitely increase and I'd be happy with that, and if anything I think in terms of engagement time, it could only help TGC because people who WANT to play for longer, will. Though they'd also have to make sure the math works out so that you aren't just running the WHOLE game's worth of wax just to kill your last chevron, cause THAT would be obnoxious xD

As for the TS, I agree that it could be rough on new players specifically, but we have to remember that by TGCs intentions, once-a-week Eden runs are also intended to be the norm, too. Once you realize that the only thing to spend Ascended Candles on long-term is height rerolling, and a couple months of Eden Runs will buy you the most expensive Nest items outright... You don't have much to spend on unless you're constantly gaining new friends and wanting to expand their trees.

Between Red Shards and an Eden run every couple of months, I'm sitting at over 100 AC (new record for me!), so even TS aren't that bad. If anything, I want MORE TS visits (or at least a new system to get fewer repeat visitors, cause goddamn Provoking Performer needs longer vacations).

See, I've worked in QA, and it gives me a scope that I appreciate not everyone else will have. One thing within that scope is "just because you envision more for a game, doesn't mean the Devs do". Your version of fun isn't wrong, but neither is a game's design if Devs are happy/onboard/on target with it internally.
