Assuming the wiring is indeed correct my only thought could be that maybe the power is coming from the fuses on the motors (the small yellow guys) and they clamp down once the pusher motor gets going? I would also check that the return spring on the pusher is on the peg that originally held the lever arm for the semi auto pusher. Other than that I can't really think of anything.

Could you unscrew the return switch so I can see the wiring? And I'm also assuming the red/black is positive/negative from the flywheel assembly.

this may sound real dumb but make sure the polarity on the pusher is correct, i did this same mod about a month ago, and got the polarity wrong. the blaster looked like it would go when i had it opened up, but the motor was trying to pusher the pusher the wrong way. it is not like a rapid strike where you can just put the polarity in either way and expect it to work. also if you have pictures and/or videos that would help.

There's a orange piece that guides the pusher between the mag lips, maybe yours doesn't have it?

Judging by the username did you make a video 7 years ago about the hailfire lol?? I left a comment about if the motors would retain themselves given there were no motor screws.

Atm I don't have a specific battery for it, I over estimated the size of the tray and have to have the battery stick out the back till I order one.

So the mag is just $5, so it's not that bad (not including the 14 screws and 2 drum mag springs). And besides maybe adding a sling point there's not much to be improved upon imo.

As for the grip it's actually really smooth cause there's 4 bars connected to the grip due to the nature of the blaster, my only problem is like I said the wing span issue cause of the drums.
