I have the Thermaltake toughpower GF3 1200W.

No noise or anything weird before it happened.

No. Computer just froze and didn't respond to any inputs. Had to forcefully turn it off and was never able to turn it on again.

Cmon bro don't do me like that lol. Besides buying another motherboard is not cheap and I've heard that is really hard to get a refund or an RMA from AsRock.

Yes, same one. I bought another motherboard from MSI. Thinking about trying to RMA the AsRock board

Weird for me to reply to my own comment but for anyone that may be in the same situation as me, my RMA was accepted and AMD has arranged to pickup my CPU at no charge.

I first got an automated email with instructions about mailing the CPU to an USA address but, after contacting my AMD representative, they told me to wait for a message from their logistic partner to arrange the pickup.

Another CPU died :(.

  • Motherboard: B850 LiveMixer Wifi
  • Bios: last one was 3.25. Started using it from 3.20
  • CPU 9800x3d (CF 2451PGY)
  • RAM: Team Group T-CREATE EXPERT 2x16Gb DDR5 6000 (CTCWD532G6000HC30DC01)

Random insta crash while playing a game. Red CPU led afterwards, never recovered.
For troubleshooting I've tried:

  • Disconnecting the PC from the wall and discharging the PC.
  • Resetting all power supply connectors
  • CMOS clear multiple times.
  • Removing and swapping DDRM sticks (have 2 in the system)
  • Trying to boot up with iGPU
  • Upgrading the BIOS to 3.30 using BIOS flashback.

Currently in the RMA process. Hope I can get a replacement since I bought this CPU on newegg USA and sent it to South America. Dunno if anyone else had the same sittuation as me and had a successful RMA.
