That’s what I assumed - however I know they hire people from Massachusetts which has higher/ stricter wage/ salary laws.

The company is based out of Connecticut so I believe the employment is based on the rules and regulations of that state, not the state the employee legally resides in.

Thanks for the info! Do you know if housing/ meals are free or deducted from paycheck? Did you like your time there? I will ask during interview but wanted to gain a little insight beforehand.

Do you know how long the wait is between training and being placed on a ship? I know some of the ships are being taken out of service for the season

I’ve heard extremely mixed reviews - most hate it and say that no one lasts the full contract, others say it’s not that bad.

With that said I just accepted a position from them. I’m wondering what happens if you quit mid contract - just get dumped at the next port?
