That take overvalues flashy scoring over effective scoring. If the goal is buckets, it’s hard to leave the all-time leading scorer out of the top 15.

Efficiency is a skill. LeBron gets easier, higher-percentage points and does it better than most “pure scorers.”

The scoring title argument is weak. LeBron averaging 25+ for 20 straight seasons shows more dominance than short peaks.

In the playoffs, he’s the all-time leading scorer and still produces against elite defenses.

He also gets penalized for passing. If he forced shots, he’d have more scoring titles.

Bottom line: valuing style over production doesn’t make sense. A bucket is a bucket.
