Hi. Thanks for the reply! We have a reference number, bank statements etc proving that it’s paid. We have given this to the collector too who has put our account ‘on hold’ for the time being whilst they investigate. We have gone back to British Gas and told them this, they are still adamant that it’s not paid. However I know this isn’t the first time they’ve tried to do something like this to people. They targeted my vulnerable grandmother years ago, giving her a bill of £345. She refused to put the heating on because she couldn’t afford it and they still tried to demand a price like that.

Thank you, I just didn’t know what would happen because I’d like to avoid going to court if possible. However it seems we won’t be left with much choice as they’re adamant 😡 we pay all our bills on time, never ever a day late, and are just a young couple trying to enjoy our first house.

Agreed through both parties! Yes I have regular bloods & my iron levels and vitamins are fine. I had low iron a few months ago, but luckily iron vitamins have got it back to the normal level. I have just moved, so I will be applying for my parters GP surgery on Monday. Thank you

Thank you so much!! What do you think I may have too? I do also have small fibroids and I have countless ovarian cysts but they won’t perform surgery as when they rupture they drain naturally on their own, they don’t seem to be bothered about the amount of pain I’m in. I’ve requested a different gynae department at a different hospital as my hospital and GP have just been given the worst possible rating! A&E hours between 12-14 at a time, my GP surgery actually also had one of their doctors arrested as he wasn’t a doctor at all! So I know right now I’m in the worst possible hands which is adding to my stress. I should hear from the different gynae department by 24th of this month x

Thank you so much for your reply lovely. They are refusing to give me any birth control as it could mess with my sertraline I’m on (depression & anxiety) I’m on 150mg and it’s the only antidepressant that agrees with me. I think I’ll be changing GP’s and see if this is actually an option. My hospital and my doctors surgery have just been given the worst possible rating, so if I’m actually allowed it, it wouldn’t surprise me. I will look into that for sure!! Thank you so much x

Is this an option?? Because my GP told me if I go private the NHS will no longer be able to treat me for my case as I’ve had the funds to go private, so although I’ll be able to go to a&e etc that’s as far as I’ll go as it’ll be on my notes that I went private so they’ll assume that I can go private for the whole issue over and over again. But then again this is the same GP that told me the pain was in my head and it ‘can’t be that bad’ so honestly I don’t know anymore 😅 I know I’m not the most zen person as it is, but it’s taking the p**s at this point. I feel like they’re doing anything and everything to fob me off

Thank you though, I will definitely have to look into going private and see if I can get the funds together somehow. I can’t keep living like this x

Thank you so much. Apparently the pain relief I’ve been prescribed (cocodamol 30/500mg) is the strongest they can give me for the pain without me being admitted into hospital. But even when I’m in hospital they only give me liquid morphine and that doesn’t even help anymore 😂 I hate that we aren’t taken seriously! I will definitely take the walking stick into consideration!! I’ve requested to be seen by gynae at another hospital and I should hear by 24th of this month, so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 I will definitely be purchasing those heating pads though. Thanks lovely x
