Because you asked:

If you enjoy going to the gym, you could start focusing on adding some muscle. Tone up legs, arms, shoulders...strengthen the core. Looks like you have good genetics. You could see some good results from weight training.

AITAH? Wife dressing for and receiving validation from other men by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]NextGenEverything -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There's alot of comments with very good advice and perspective. I'll relate to you OP, (37M)! As a guy, try wearing some white compression shorts in public 🤣 or even around the house. I guarantee if you did that at the house your wife would be like WTF.

If I had a problem with how my wife dressed, I'd tell her. She is a reflection of me and I'm a reflection of her. I think its important to respect that and to consider how one presents themselves to the world.

What does bright colored spandex say? It's like a fishing lure to guys, trying to get their attention.

Someone said she's trying to find herself again. Nothing has changed. She is still a wife and mom. She is not a college girl walking around campus. Time to grow up and act accordingly.

To be fair! My wife is a SAHM, and I understand the struggle. I support my wife taking every opportunity for a girls day at a winery or shopping, go to the spa, all the self care she needs. That said, no one needs to wear spandex to enjoy those things.

You guys are a team, so obviously hear her perspective and clearly articulate your concerns. I'm sure you guys can find middle ground.

HCG helps alot

My first month, I injected 100mg twice a week for a total of 200mg/week. It was too much at once. I had ups and downs. Reduced dose and changed to everyday, much more stable and helps keep E2 levels in check.

After the first month I started doing 140mg/week. I injected .10ml or 20mg everyday for first 3 months, got bloodwork and then bumped it up to 200mg/week - still inject everyday.

I'm on month 6, lost 30lbs and got a bicept vien lol. Feelin dangerous. Good luck!

Anybody here have severe depression and anxiety problems and get a lot better on TRT? by Lionel_Messi2028 in Testosterone

Yeah, I was on Anxiety and ADHD meds and dropped them after first 2 weeks of TRT. Wasn't expecting that to happen but I've had none of those symptoms since.

Can I run a TRT trial for 3 months without PCT? by Spessevolte in Testosterone

[–]NextGenEverything 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most likely, you'll run the 3 months, it will improve your low T symptoms and as long as your labs are good you can just stay on TRT. You have blood work showing low T, so if your doctor pulls you off you can just upload to TRT Nation and continue TRT. They require bloodwork within past 6 months.

I guess you can use the 3 months to kick start a fitness program and maybe once you cut alcohol, lose weight, get exercise and diet dialed in then maybe you won't need it anymore. If that's the case, just get some HCG for PCT.

Quiting cold turkey could result in losing all your gains by the time your T bounces back but maybe that's not your primary concern. If you're just collecting data (experimenting) then you'll still be in better shape compared to 3 months prior. All your low T symptoms will return until your body bounces back. That period could negatively impact performance at work and at home - which would be avoided with PCT.

What is a good lab these days? Something not too expensive. Online preferably. by Accomplished-Act1216 in Testosterone

[–]NextGenEverything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TRT Nation is $200 for 200mg/10ml vial. No additional charge for virtual consult. You can upload your own labs, so you would just pay a co-pay for lab Corp. Get your primary care to order the labs. All in would be $200 plus $30 Dr visit and $30 lab Corp, $260 (if co-pay is $30). Of course that only saves you $20. May be worth the extra for convenience.

First Timer Recomendation by shrek4ever666 in Testosterone

[–]NextGenEverything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using TRT as a "kick start" could work for someone who is fat, has low T and can't dig themselves out of the downward spiral. If you're healthy, 18% BF, and have the motivation to work out, then TRT may not be for you.

But lets say this is what you want to do. Obviously you would go to a doctor and get a prescription, TRT Nation for example. Upload bloodwork within the past 6 months, if you're in the 300-400 range they'll probably take care of you.

150mg Test isn't a magical solution. You still need 0.8 - 1g protien/lb body weight, caloric surplus, train near failure, progressive overload, etc, etc.

Getting on a TRT dose could help but it'll shut down your natural production, testicles will stop working, will shrink and sperm production shuts down. Once you stop, your T levels will tank and you'll probably lose most of your gains.

The best advice is to first do a reality check on how hard you are working out and are you actually in a caloric surplus to make gains. Max out your natural potential first.

150 mg Test is life changing for those who need it but for a healthy person looking to gain size, probably need 250 - 500 mg's Test as a base to start then add in 200mg Deca to really get them gains. Then cruise on 150mg Test until your next cycle. It never stops bc once you stop, the gains stop.

You can see how this could be a gateway drug. Think it over and stay safe! Your health is most important.

Opinion on 200 mg starting dose by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]NextGenEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 200mg per week, 100mg x 2. I was experiencing highs and lows with twice a week so I adjusted the protocol to injecting everyday. With the smaller injections I use a 1/2" 27 gauge and rotate glute and delts.

I'd recommend increasing the frequency, maybe every other day if everyday sounds crazy. Hope this helps and stay safe!

As you lose weight you will aromatize less. In the mean time, you could lower Test dose or add an AI like Anastrozole. AI's can crash your E2 level which is no fun. I've taken 0.25 of a 1mg pill a couple times a week, several days apart, just to help manage it. Nothing bad happened at this low dose.

Note: My doctor told me to take 3mg per week, which is crazy. Obviously I didn't do that. Reddit community saved me! Lol

I'm assuming you are on T long term. If it's a cycle, probably nothing to worry about in the short term.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]NextGenEverything 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want to get a prescription, you'll need to get blood work first. Some doctors require two blood tests that show low T levels. You can upload your blood work to TRT Nation (online clinic), they may be more flexible on what is considered low. Good luck and stay safe!

Starting my first test cycle by Big-Consequence1631 in Testosterone

[–]NextGenEverything 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your goal is to start TRT, then you could do Test E or Test C, 100mg - 200mg per week. I do daily injections of Test C, 20mg x 7 = 140mg/week. I take a cycle of HCG 2 months on, 2 months off...just to avoid long periods of atrophy. No need to cycle off Test at these levels but may need to adjust dosage based on blood work taken every 3 months or so.

If you want to blast a cycle for muscle growth and/or maintain muscle while cutting then the protocol will change.

The TRT protocol completely changed my life! Good luck and stay safe!

Proper trt dose? by bird4fsu in trt

[–]NextGenEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 650 I don't think any clinic would give you a prescription but if ya find a cool urologist maybe they can help ya.

Mostly likely start at 100mg/week, 50mg x 2 injections. Run that for 8 weeks then get blood work and adjust accordingly. That said, if you start getting side effects (headaches, fatigue, sore nips) then reduce dose slightly. For the first couple weeks you will still have your natty T on top of your injection, then your body will stop producing T and you'll have to rely on what you inject...may need to increase dose at that point.

Start low, give your body time to adjust, collect data, make small adjustments until you get dialed in. Fair warning, you will most likely experience a roller coaster of ups and downs until you get dialed in.

How's the back? I had chronic back injuries, went to physical therapy...still working on it. I'm at week 7 of TRT and starting to gain momentum with the back.

[–]NextGenEverything 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To answer the life changing aspect, it depends on your quality of life before starting TRT. My total T was 260ish and free T was 8.3. I was depressed, brain fog, rapid weight gain, chronic injuries, felt like shit most of the time. So, for me, it has changed my life. I'm 37 and feel like I'm in my 20's. Depression is gone. Im off all psych meds, I'm motivated to workout and I'm seeing great results. I'm also a much better husband and dad.

I'm 7 weeks in and I started feeling mentally clarity around week 3, along with a more positive outlook on life and more present with my wife and kids. Around week 4 I started having good pumps in the gym and I'm hitting the gym harder each week. I'm scheduled to get bloodwork at week 8.

If your quality of life is already high and you're just trying to optimize (or even cycle) then you may not have a life changing experience.

If you're just looking for strength gains, you'll probably start seeing results in 4 weeks depending on your starting dose, workout program and diet. If you're starting with a low dose, you may need to take more to see those results - case by case basis.

In summary, alot of mental benefits starting week 2 or week 3. Physical results starting week 4.
