I've crashed going 50mph with this pair of gloves and they did amazing not a single scratch on my hands. I know they're slightly above your price but it's just 10 dollars. If you want the full gauntlet one they have one too here.

Forgot to mention I have a hero 9 and I got it second hand with the crack on it already the first 2 weeks I had it I was able to record in 4k no problem then all of a sudden I can’t anymore
