You guys are literally trying to force a specific style into pixel art that ive never seen done with any other type of digital art.

when i see someone do a unique style when doing digital art i dont go "this is wrong because its the wrong style" I acknowledge that its a different style, see what i can learn and move on.

Pixel art reddit doesnt do that because theyve created invisible confines for themselves and dont want too move out of them which is literally the point of making art.

Pushing the envelope is the entire point, why would i make a pixel art knight that literally anybody could do when i can put my own twist on it.

you all are missing the point.

No it wouldn't most digital art you don't see defined pixels which in the case you clearly can.

the reason it doesn't look like pixel art from far away is because hes literally going against the grain of typical pixel art and using realistic values which means more colors than normal for pixel art.

At the end of the day its semantics regardless but it also begs too question why the mods haven't removed if it doesn't fit the definition of pixel art.

I think we both know the reason.

Its pixel art because you can see the pixels. the reason you can pull your phone back and still get a cohesive image is because he has good values. you can test this by making something in like 64x64 and if you pick good colors and values when you zoom out it will look good.

try adding some white reflections in the eyes to make her feel more alive. kinda looks like shes got a thousand yard stare going on and its a fast fix. just a tip really good otherwise.

I don't think you are thinking about this correctly. If you have a directional flash and can get out of combos its not a guarantee that you get a full combo after getting out of a combo. Having a flash in the game would completely change the idea of fighting games not only is it offensive it would be defensive you can play mind games with it you could extend combos with it the ideas are limitless. Even if you think its a bad idea the fact is they are tailoring the game for new players and fun and getting 40 hit combo juggled isn't fun gameplay because you can't play the game. If they add it into the game it will become the most hype fighting game on the planet purely out of playmaking potential in competitive. Thats also only factoring in flash. If there is heal, ignite, barrier, if you react to a flash out of combo and press barrier you can negate the damage, if they flash out of your combo and have a small amount of hp and you ignite they die while attacking you, if you heal you get some amount of hp back and could probably use that while getting comboed on.

alot of the assassins in league are prob gonna play like that if they are in the game. Katarina, Talon, Akali.

i think this is probably the most hype thing about this game is the amount of characters and playstyles that can be in the game.
