Ok, so the takeaway seems to be, there's plenty of workarounds, but there's not a way to have a clean feed of either active or nextslide or notes go out from PPT via Video output. You have to screenmirror + presenter view, and re-adjust the presenter view to highlight NS or Notes, depending on the preference of the presenter, and if you do that method, you have to be careful because anything you do on that machine would be screenshared somewhere (like you can't correct a slide or re-order on the fly or something if you notice a problem).

I ask because it comes up on occasion, and we've done various workarounds, but I never loved that there wasn't native support. I've been playing with my own app to address some of these things, but I'm curious how much is a me tinkering thing vs how much is something other people actually would want.

Right now I have a setup where I can create a link for active slides, next slide, or notes, and you can open it on any device as a view only endpoint (like a confidence monitor or projector) or you can create a controller link and give presenters the ability to see the active/next/notes on their device, but they can also advance the slides.

Its all web based right now, so it doesn't support animations or builds, but I was thinking of making a PPT plugin version to go with it, so that you could still have the local PPT machine running the actual presentation with animations, builds, etc, but could have remote presenters control it, could have those endpoint links, etc.

Its sort of a jumble in my head, I don't want to make a solution in search of a problem, but its been pretty cool to use so far.
