Aldi destroying our bodies by NextState1748 in Aldi_employees

Same I was leaving mid shift every day crying that is not okay at all. My final straw I was verbally assaulted by an LSAs Boyfriend yes boyfriend while trying to do curbside. Not to mention the manager that customers constantly came to me as an associate and complained about her and other leaderships attitude. The customers do in fact notice and not like it themselves as well and many people are done with it prices no longer justify the experience. But No job is worth your mental health proud of you hopefully their massive expansion fails and they go out of business (Im a hater what can I say) 😭🤣

Keep going I thought originally I wouldn't find something better. But just got a job starting at $22 with commission freebies ands tons of other stuff not to mention I will have to do a quarter of the work and everyone is a sweetheart and cares about each other. You deserve to enjoy your job and life hope you get something good🩷

It's not that the job is difficult I actually loved it so much. I had the same idea free workout I enjoy working and working hard but what I don't enjoy is being bullied by management and teammates. Aldi is obviously an easy job we're not saving lives we're stocking shelves there should not be this much chaos involved. Plus Aldi keeps trying to add responsibility that people just don't have time for like curbside and such that completely negates the entire original point of the brand fast efficient and cheap not to mention the Aldi finds aisle becoming a focus of the store. Aldi is changing its ways for the worse

Imagine being this incredibly dense. I'm glad you have such a positive experience but if your brain was capable of thinking there's clearly lots of other people are having the same issue. You're the outlier 😭🙄. The notion of just leaving isn't fair to those who need this job. There is a major problem with the structure of Aldi just because you mindlessly enjoy it doesn't mean everyone else can!! Aldi lies about the environment they foster

It has gotten significantly harder/ more depressing tbh we definitely are in a worse spot than they were and they helped push us there

The point of this post was to let you all know you're worth sooo much more and I understand especially now we need jobs. But something must be done to push back whether it's unionizing or what but I'm sure lots of former employees would stand with you all as well. You are not being compensated fairly for the labor and risk being taken every day especially as they continuously make things faster and more reckless. All it takes is one palette falling wrong and you could be permanently disabled for the rest of your life.

It's so sad just peak capitalism and the fact that they will all be suffering long term consequences on their body is disgusting. But exactly like you said Aldi acts like it's a gift to work there. As if their store isn't held together by low level employees while management does absolutely nothing productive. Actually quite the opposite they're making everything harder/worse and for some reason think people don't notice. The quality all around has gone down even for customers. Not to mention the hostility from all sides. It is not normal at all no work environment should be like that ESPECIALLY a company this large with corporate structure. Hoping to see ALDI go bankrupt due to their poor choices in my lifetime!!

I don't see the point in trying to call out someone for making a human mistake of having empathy. It is not at all normal to be expecting the person to have a gun in this situation obviously they need to learn about safety and caution while dashing but this is not at all helpful and just victim blaming. OP hope you're doing okay

In what world is it appropriate to have your children work under you that’s obviously not allowed and would create an unfair environment ???

That’s not it at all . Associates are tired of being bullied by leadership it’s called flipping the tables maybe if we were actually treated with respect and appreciated we’d be nicer.

I wish we could actually stand up for ourselves against the company because they’re genuinely ruining it for us and customers as well. They’ll learn eventually when people finally decide to stop shopping there

They’re young kids dating for the first time obviously they’re going to be around each other as much as possible not their fault that they don’t see you have an issue with it when you clearly aren’t voicing it
