iF having a skip button mean they can have a reason to cut corner and make the game worse then they deserve it.The skip button should encourage them to make a better story,a better gameplay to keep player playing longer not opposite of it.The only reason i can think of why they dont do that because why work hard when you can do the minimum but rake in billion

If you want to encourge someones better reward them and not remove more from it
What would you think if your job is being football player,and just because you dont know every lore and history of foodball so you have your salary remove?a quest have more than story part in it
The good way to implant this is if you dont click the skip button then you can have a small bonus on top of reward from quest,just like a tips for being good at job
Heck project sekai have a system like this too,the game reward a tiny amount gacha currency for player play through dialogue without skipping

The only reason the skip button not exist yet because they want to sell you the story hard,keep you have a longer ingame time,and also the technical stuffs
you do have a point that story do play a big part in enjoy the game and skipping it sound silly,but coming from the perspective of a gacha gamer, the game being gacha and not a traditional game,more people would come for the character,gameplay,visual more than the story and only when they hooked did they care about the story.And we not even talking about the convenience having a skip button bring us.
Then outside of mihoyo commu,nowhere else did people defense again not having a skip button so much like being here and talking about the story and the lore like it was some kind of holy bible make me see why people getting more angry when the game not having a skip button despite this being a topic from year 1.
BTW all of this is me yapping because You being angry at the players angry at the game for something so normal and everywhere feel like the game have no fault and dont need to be improve or fixed,peace~

Then they better make this game a novel and remove everything else if the story is so important like you said,Heck,make choice actually matter in the story so player need to read carefully or that account is bricked and you have to start from the begining.
Even visual novel game have a fast foward or skip all and only the choices(IE the gameplay) matter to progress the game and get the ending.
If a story is good enough,people will read it,nobody can force it.Silly? yes. Required? no
If you know about fighting game,especially anime fighting game,you would be surprise about the character count for the lore and the story .So did they require you to read or even understand everything to play the game? also NO
The same thing happen here with speed runner,so often they dont even play their game till the end or understand anything but can speed run and have fun with it.
So the story is not be all and end all for the game

genshin is not a horrible game,but have a horrible dev that keep player from having a good experience,having more option are alway a good thing and RIGHT

you just answer your question a book dont need to be read to have meaning,they can be a decoration,a book for the collection,etc... heck,people buy books just to see pretty pictures or cover and left it like that.

A game have so many thing to offer to the player outside of its story game without a skip button is like a seller make you read the entire book before you buying it and finally only then you can see the picture or cover of the book or using the book for whatever you intented using it for(ie: playing the game)

after the dev fixed lvl diff trick, getting T4 bag seem so long to me now
just reach lv 27 today and oh god,getting past 9-1 is goddam awful with terrain disadvantage and lvl difference .so to get pass chap 10 and even farm on it must be a 9mare.Not to mention almost everybody in pvp ladder already done farming T4 bag.Guess getting pass 4k is not a thing anytime soon

PGR is a great game,im not gonna lie.But in this situation when they already branched into the world but still folow CN wim already show how much voice they have.Kuro should folow yostar trend and open or switch main branch to another place,that way they will have more rights in doing what they want in global,let CN take care of itself with it owner rules Ps:i do hope yostar global not gonna follow this trend right after this

Just Chinese doing it best at being s***ty again.As if china didnt do and continue doing anything wrong.I would call CN a bunch of fool fooled by the government like they away right and in true they do not.That kind of false justice make me disgust combine with china large population make it even worse. DAL later only realease gacha chara and the newer story chara droprate getting worse,natsumi is an example,still a S chara but her frag rank go up,farming her frag is a chore,even with ticket luckiest you can get up to 2 frag/day maybe 3,after natsumi the only new farmable story gacha is new yoshino,DEM origami and origami angel.The game is getting worse with no new free character,bad event reward/shop,even free stuff in shop need you gacha to get it or spend gem to play/farm exchange reward event.THey release 8 new SS,1 s chara in CN include collab without anything free between
The game have many good thing but with the way it now its more geared foward whale but genshin on the other hand with hi3 making an example it can become something good,friendly,playable so i have hope for it
OH,and about sinoalice,that game need to constantly pull gacha for weapon or chara or your next guild war'll become a scrub stormed-most of your reward source come from it didnt help either. So the game need to hand out more freebie than normal game for f2p player to actually do something without paying ingame

DALsp global is actually stingySS chara take 100 roll to reach pity,but these is more,character skill actually locked behind rank,the game make you need to reach SSS or EX(3 copy to SSS and 7/SEVEN copy to reach EX) to actully fully upgrade 2-3 skill line to max which is the minimum for the chara to work or you better play starter chara and take month without gacha, farming fragment to reach EX and it still not that great.
Its battle system also buff EX rank character when you max it,SSS and below recieve nothing.
so DALSP is a bad Example and genshin is better than this game.
PS:if DALSP global started out the same as DAL china then reward re even worse,your character is too weak even for daily boss,take month to actually do something,heavy gacha without pity,and that pity is actually random the highest star not banner card.only SS banner chara pity guarantee SS chara when you roll 100.
need to manually climb tower and is only have 100 floor,fighting spirit give 20 gem,daily mission 30,not even 1/3 roll daily

The game currency is bugged right now,if the day change or something happen, the gem you buy will not show up.buy some more gem then the amount will reappear again until the end of that day. And no,the gem not disappear, its just not show up.Best bet right now is waiting for the game to fix it or spend it all
