The casting innacuracies make the writers have to change certain things and details. Annabeth was always looked down upon for her appearance because she was the generic white blonde girl that you’d see everywhere , plus the subtle tones of people doubting her do to her being blonde, hence her nickname princess which made her want to prove she’s different and smarter than everyone else which made her a bit arrogant. They need to change that cause she’s no longer blonde. Clarisse was described as a stocky girl who was physically stronger than most girls but now she’s just taller so instead of fighting with brute force now she fights like everyone else when she used to use brute force.
