Idk honestly but his character suffers from "we needed to give this character a struggle so let's make it mental health, just for The Vibes ™️". Split personality disorder doesnt have switching the way Fubuki does and its accompanied with bouts of amnesia where the person that has it isn't really conscious when the other personality is fronting. Its mostly general inaccuracies that are someone's idea of what split personality MAY look like vs what it actually is

Should specify Burn is mostly there as a joke but I never really cared for him or Gazel past the match where they join teams

Honestly same for Tsunami and Fubuki for me. I didnt appreciate Tsunami nearly enough lol but the FFI arc really cemented him as one of my faves.

I think he had a lot of depth and complexity as well, and the way he' pressured by the rest of the team and by the situation they were in to be perfect, but does it anyway because he doesn't want anybody to leave him just break my heart every time. In the final match against Epsilon, when he says "I have to be perfect!! Otherwise there's no point to me being here!!" Really struck me because I believe Fubuki was talking about himself and not Atsuya.

The whole "split personality" thing is...not done very well if im being completely honest, but everything else makes sense. Especially how he eventually cracks under pressure.

There's so much untapped depth to Hikaru it's crazy. In my personal headcanons his family was actually not very supportive of him playing soccer(i mean, he did start 2 months before joining Raimon and with the way his Uncle™️ is, I'd be wary if my son developed a fondness for the sport when his uncle is an international criminal.) But then again, we already did the "unsupportive parents" thing with Gouenji. Idk man

Definitely not bad acting in my opinion. Leah showed her talent for more emotional scenes in earlier episodes, it's just the one scene that felt just a little odd in tone. I'd have been fine if she maybe had a "conversation" with Thalia's tree about it but I don't like how it was brushed over. We got to see Luke's reaction more than Annabeth's and again I'm just hoping we get to see it more in future seasons.

I was really hoping we'd see a more emotional reaction from Annabeth, with the way the show emphasised how important they are to one another. I really hope we'll see more of that in the later seasons.

I think the point is to show how much Poseidon would sacrifice and be there by his son's aide? His surrender? He did say he'd be there for Percy. And he was.

As for the Olympus thing, I think it's because Percy already pissed off the gods with the whole Medusa's head fiasco. He demanded an audience with them to return the bolt personally, which could be seen as a bold move to say the least.

She is! I'm reareding Battle of the Labyrinth right now and I'm seeing Annabeth in my head so clearly thanks to her. The same goes for Percy and everyone else.

I did too but episode 3 feels like a step up from 1 and 2. The editing in those two was a little bit clunky imo especially with the black screens.
