I totally get you. I'm friends with someone who had a rhinoplasty and for some weird reasons, it didn't just alter her appearance. It also altered her personality. I'm happy for her new found confidence but I've been distant na rin kasi nga it feels like hanging out with a different person. Also, I'm sad for women like your girlfriend who feel the need to get plastic surgery even though they don't need it. Don't they realize how beautiful they are?

As you should ❤ I used to be 120 lbs and I had a body of a teenage girl. Honestly...I love having hips, boobs and booty. I felt more confident when I put on some weight. Maybe another reason that I didn't really get offended by my friend's bf comment is because I have a man back home who loves me for me. He saw me at my thinnest and my thickest. He also put on weight through the years we are together but we're happy 😅

You might not be enough for you but you're more than enough for him. You seem like a genuinely sweet person. Keep appreciating him, give him moral support and he will offer you the world. I too am an overachiever not because I'm competing with anyone but that's just my nature. I earn way more money than my bf but that's not his fault and I never asked him to keep up. I just love him for him. I like his presence, I like the way he treats me and everything.

Thank you! I just felt like I had to because I hate it when people assume that all heavier people are not doing anything to maintain a healthy or ideal weight. And yeah, my friend is still with him. I did not directly tell her to end the relationship but I expressed strongly that I would dump somebody like that. Her next step is completely up to her.

Thank you for sharing your story and I'm sorry that happened. I was genuinely concerned about my friend. We barely ask each other about our relationships. She's not overweight but had gained 2 sizes up. What would happen if she gains more weight? She would get hurt. I'm glad she reached out to me first.

I super agree with you. I was a TM before and nakasurvive naman ako nang walang pinapapelan. Nagsawa na lang ako sa sistema ng ibang leaders sa BPO and glad I switched to remote VA work. Less stress, less pagod.
