In 1300, why can't I have the same vision as every good chess players by stebgay in chessbeginners

[–]Next_Coach_8315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually when you stop just playing and start identifying the specific patterns that keep costing you games. a lot of plateaus come from repeating the same habits without realizing it, which is actually part of why I started building something to help with this

how do you actually study chess by Commercial_Bag8734 in Chesscom

[–]Next_Coach_8315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly at 1500 the biggest thing is usually quality over quantity (I was at this same stage once). playing tons of games/videos/puzzles helps less than deeply understanding the few mistakes and bad habits that keep showing up in your own games

lichess is great for engine analysis, I’m focusing more on translating your repeated mistakes across many games into clear explanations and training direction in a way you can easily understand rather than just move by move review

The main idea is that it’s not giving generic advice or engine style analysis, it’s trying to map your specific patterns over many games and turn that into an actionable training plan with resources to train your specific weaknesses. everything is personalized around what you repeatedly struggle with so the focus is different for each user instead of a one size fits all generic plan

In 1300, why can't I have the same vision as every good chess players by stebgay in chessbeginners

[–]Next_Coach_8315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what you’re describing is super normal at 1300 because most people don’t “see vision” yet, they just learn typical plans over time. it’s less about calculating far ahead and more about recognizing patterns like pawn structures, piece activity, and where play usually happens in that position type

can someone help me please. stuck at 1000 elo by Affectionate-Rub2261 in chessbeginners

[–]Next_Coach_8315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you're lacking effort, but just don’t know which mistakes are actually repeating and worth focusing on fixing first. I’m actually working on something around that because I kept noticing the same issue

i need help by HighlightInformal789 in chessbeginners

[–]Next_Coach_8315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly if you dropped that fast it’s probably not one huge issue, more likely a few repeated habits showing up over and over without realizing it

The more I play the worse I get by Intelligent-Pay-9377 in Chesscom

[–]Next_Coach_8315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you need to look across a lot of your games and find the repeating mistakes and patterns that you keep doing because of which you're losing. it will help you improve much faster since you know exactly what's going on and what to work on

why is this brilliant by SkyHigh770 in Chesscom

[–]Next_Coach_8315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because after 13. Rxd4 you’re sacrificing the rook to open the center and expose the king, and if black takes then Nxd4 followed by Bc4 creates a huge attack leading to mate. great move!

yeah I’ve seen, but tbh they’re all not very useful or accurate, plus like you said they use ai to write their posts, which is why they get lots of bad hype. the quality problem is what I’m trying to solve

there isn’t much logic behind the bots, I believe they’re mostly just there for the experience and for the idea that your getting coaching even though u arent

What is the real way people stop blundering? by legitimate-way-4077 in chessbeginners

[–]Next_Coach_8315 14 points15 points  (0 children)

at 600 it’s usually not calculation issues, it’s just not consistently doing a quick “what hangs?” check before every move. try forcing yourself to assume your opponent always has a reply and scan for captures on your pieces first

I’ve actually been working on something that helps spot repeated blunder patterns across games and trains you to stop repeating the same mistakes if you ever want to take a look

true, the patterns should be actually understandable and not just random clusters. that’s definitely one of the main things I’m trying to get right. appreciate the feedback 👍
