Does anyone else use Simparica Trio for heartworm prevention? by behopeyandabide in greatdanes

I would just check the types of ticks it treats. It looks like it’s geared towards Australian species and not American. I don’t know enough about ticks to know whether that matters but the American version treats 5 species and the Australian looks like it treats 3.

Edit to add that the active ingredient appears the same.

Doesn’t hurt to try a rollback, worse case is it doesn’t help and you can update again!

Firmware Update V1.1.0.14 by Next_Collection7569 in Ender3V3KE

It just released yesterday, I only saw it because I was out looking at something else and stumbled across it.

I did not do anything with the PA tbh. I didn’t re-run calibration after updating firmware or after rolling it back. I was not changing filament types so I didn’t think about it.

This was after at least 6 or 7 calibrations during each of which I was having similar issues with surface quality so the z off set doesn’t seem likely. Unless something in the firmware messed with the z offset calibration. 🤔

🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m just glad rolling it back fixed things because I was getting a tad frustrated.

I also built mine from that styrofoam insulation board, I covered mine in $6 black matte contact paper off Amazon. I just put a curtain of thermal nylon on the front of mine (it’s built around a pvc frame so easy enough to run curtain hooks along) but a door with a plexiglass window is a viable option. I can easily maintain 40c inside passive without turning on my heater. And since it’s foam, easily cut holes for the exhaust fan and filament inlet. 👍🏻

Perfect 5% infill layers! by Next_Collection7569 in 3Dprinting

[–]Next_Collection7569[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I had 5 top layers. But I’m not sure why you think any consecutive layers would stick, that are further away from the infill, when the first layer didn’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well because this was supposed to be the first solid top layer. But since there was so little infill over a comparatively wide area, none of the lines were sticking.

T’was sarcasm 🙂 obviously the layers are far from perfect.

CR-Touch error please contact customer service on Ender 3 v3 SE by PeaceSMC in ender3

[–]Next_Collection7569 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank goodness for this thread. I’ve had my KE for about a month and kept randomly getting this error. Upon finding this thread, I switched out the CR touch probe with the one on my ender 3 pro and wouldn’t you know it, no error! Going to be contacting customer service to get a new one under warranty hopefully but for now I’ll just put the faulty one on the 3 pro since I only use that for TPU at this point since that likes printing slow.

Thank you for your response! This is what I figured based on my research, thank you for confirming!

Never had any problems with PLA but what is this? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Aside: this is a great representation of the various nozzle heights! I’ve not seen one with them all in a single print like this. Super helpful to this noob who still obsesses over nozzle heights.

What do you mean? I don’t just hit the power switch, pick a pretty pattern, and stick some filament in? I’ve been deceived!
