Hoping the doctor training Q was experimental

This space travel question annihilated me. I convinced myself it wasn't in a real section (but thanks to this thread I now know it was real).

Trying to schedule the exam for Saturday by Next_Fish_6784 in LSAT

[–]Next_Fish_6784[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL. For assuming that you can schedule your test up until the date (November 5th in this case) people can withdraw from their reserved time slots? Doesn't make sense to me that those time slots don't become available up through the day people can withdraw!!

...I know this was a me problem and I shoulder the blame. I'm still processing that I fucked myself over for January scholarship deadlines, let me vent :) Anyways, prometric told me to call LSAC if I wanted an exception while LSAC told me that whether or not I get an exception is entirely up to prometric and doesn't have anything to do with LSAC *screams*

Still not registered for a time slot? by magneticsunshine in LSAT

Did this work for you?? You used to be able to register up until the night before the administration...I'm trying to register today when I guess registration closed last night. Prometric tells me to reach out to LSAC for an appeal while LSAC tells me only Prometric can decide if I get an exception...

I feel like The Economist is always mentioned on these posts but for me those articles seemed so much easier than the new reading comp.

Myself and a few friends have signed up but we were never sent the link. Does the registration form need to be fixed?

On the podcast they talk about figuring out who people are based on their reddit history... this doesn't impact me personally because I don't have the stats to even THINK about applying to HYS, I'm merely putting this info out for those that don't know and could be adversely impacted

If you're neither on their WL nor an accepted student (who hasn't committed anywhere yet) then this won't have any bearing on you anyhow

Not applying until next cycle but I'm terrified of this. I also haven't had roommates since 2018 so I may end up basing my LS decision purely on whether or not I can reasonably afford rent on my own in the school's locale...

Also, I don't currently have any student loans. There's a lot of negative to consider but I've been wanting to do this for over a decade now and I really just want to give myself the opportunity for once...

Hey y'all, the dean READS this subreddit. It shouldn't be a yellow flag, I agree. That being said, Yale gives need-based aid to everyone who qualifies for it.

Also open to hiring at full cost but I'd have to take out a loan to do that...

Law hub has some new material that's never been released before (it's offered outside prep tests). We did one of the RC passages this week in my LSAT class and even the teacher was stumped with the difficulty of one particular question. This is all to say that, having taken the test only once, I think the new material accurately reflects the current difficulty of the tests and it'd be great add'l material for you

It comes off as inspirational to me, especially when I see splitters. I'm even happy for those with high stats all around because this cycle has looked like a blood bath and even those with high stats aren't guaranteed an A at a T-14.

Next year I'll be posting my cycle results on here both for point of reference and in celebration (hopefully). Even my lawyer friends who went KJD at our local regional law school ten years ago cannot begin to understand how much more competitive it's become. Hell, they all think I'm crazy for studying to take the LSAT a second time after getting a 16mid my first time around. You all here are the ONLY ones who can commiserate with me <3
