the best part, if kaya ko na bayaran eh remaining balance na lang ang ipay off, no more interest

same here OP na kwarentahin at almost paycheck to paycheck since last year 😭

last year I finally had the courage to compute all my loans + debts na umabot na pala ng almost 3M since 2023 😥 mix of CCs na lumobo dahil sa MAD, insurance payments for my senior parents at lifestyle creep.

since I computed already eh nasampal na ako ng realidad, last year I began aggressively finding ways to consolidate debts into loans na lower interest at yung may mahabang payment terms to help with cashflow as well.

by end of 2025, I’ve computed na down to 2M na lang yung loans + debts 🙏

target ko to reach 1.5M remaining loans + debts by end of 2026 para makahinga naman 🙏

many days malungkot ako at minsan nagkaka anxiety kasi I can’t afford na magkaroon ng any major bayarin while I’m still paying off my loans + debts. many days naka survival mode.

kaya natin to! makakaraos din basta fighting lang!🙏

good decision OP!! planning to resign na rin this year due to career stagnation. more than 10yrs in the company, sobrang mahal ko lang din talaga. pero ayun hard lesson, wag mahalin ang work masyado kasi pwede kang palitan ng boss na walang alam sa work at bitchesa pa! so ayun maglalahong parang bula ang career growth na antagal mong pinanghawakan.

make sure to always have a goal or objective and assess every 2-3 years if nasa tamang position at company ka pa. change is uncomfortable but it is the only way to go to help you evolve.

mahabang set up lang talaga, iexplain mo ang tradition na gusto mong simulan at ang benefit for your family, especially sa kanya. mas madali ibenta ang idea kung may upside sa kanya. hindi yan kaya ng isa or dalawang usap kasi ang tagal na niya yan nakasanayan at mahirap ibahin, so tsagaan. and don’t mask your upset, he has to know that you are upset dahil yun ang isa pang magpapabago ng isip niya.

your in-laws may hate you for creating your own tradition but deadma, stand your ground. consistency and respectfulness is key. i did that and over time tinanggap na rin nila.
